Alternative for Yahoo Messenger in Fedora OS
After a few searches I manage to find an alternative for Yahoo Messenger… And it is far more good than Yahoo Messenger because Pidgin is a chat program which lets you log in to accounts on multiple chat networks simultaneously. This means that you can be chatting with friends on MSN, talking to a friend on Google Talk, and sitting in a Yahoo chat room all at the same time.
Thanx Pidgin…
How to install pidgin in Fedora 12…
Below is the command I type to install pidgin.
Just type Pidgin in your terminal like this..
Type Y when it ask you to install or not…
[root@Hideaki aeron]# pidgin
Command not found. Install package ‘pidgin’ to provide command ‘pidgin’? [N/y]

You can also use Emphaty, which relies for the Yahoo connection on the Pidgin libraries but is somewhat more integrated into GNOME.
Another alternative is GYache, which has an absolutely horrible user interface but a lot more features.
