Download Manager for Fedora 12

I am trying to search for an alternative for Internet Download Manager to be used in Fedora…

But it seems that I couldnt find any download manager that satisfy my need and specification….

Mostly the suggestion is a command line downloader… I am not familiar with command line at this moment so i will try flashget using wine application…

Adios Amigos…

:p

  2. you can use, down them all which is a firefox plugin. you can also use kget which is kde download manager, and gwget for gnome. but believe me that the best and easier one is still wget. learning it is very simple.

    • Thanx ali… which one is better.. Kde or gnome ?? eheheh

      • Ha, ha, ha! What a question! I can only say, without starting a flamewar, that I use gwget :p

      • hehehe… i will try it.. But I have some question… Which one is better.. Kde or gnome?? I am still thinking whether to use gnome or kde??

  3. If you use Firefox, DownThemAll is really good. For desktop try MultiGet or D4X. (Both are available via official repos or RPMFusion.org). Also heard Free Download Manager works well with WINE.

  4. you can install everything in kde or gnome, both of them support all linux applications. the difference is mostly in the appearance of your desktop. some prefer to use gnome, and some use kde. you should try both of them because each of them has it’s own benefits. after trying them, you will be able to choose. personally, I prefer kde.
